The staff were very welcoming and flexible and provided good service. The hotel's location was close to the garden, surrounding cliffs, and the banks of the Dordogne. It was also a convenient 10-minute drive to Reptiland Animal Park. Additionally, I appreciated being able to park on site.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The value for money was exceptional, with reasonable prices for both the room and the delicious meals at the restaurant. The attention to detail in the rooms was impressive, especially with the large terraces that offered a sunny place to relax. The air conditioning was a welcome addition, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The location of the hotel was perfect, nestled in an attractive rural area next to a beautiful river. We enjoyed spending time at the large swimming pool and exploring the nearby water park. The breakfast provided each morning was a great way to start the day, with a variety of tasty options to choose from.

All was perfect during our stay.

I had a fantastic time staying at Domaine Les Falaises in Martel. The location right under high cliffs was absolutely striking and unique. Walking around the little medieval village plastered to the cliffs was a memorable experience. The hotel itself was charming, and the host family made the stay even more enjoyable. I also loved their friendly dog. The meals served on the terrace were pleasant and delicious. The lady owner was amazing and catered to our every need, putting her heart and soul into the hotel. I would definitely book again and highly recommend it!

    I recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed the delicious dinner and breakfast served at the hotel. the location was also fantastic, with easy access to the river where we had a great time canoeing. the property had a characterful charm that added to the overall experience.

The absence of a lift, especially since we were placed on the third floor. the staff kindly offered to carry our bags upstairs, which alleviated the inconvenience.

The hotel offers great value for money, spacious rooms with lovely baths, and an exquisite dinner. The hotel is located in a tranquil area, perfect for exploring the nearby attractions and enjoying the Dordogne River. The menu was even personalized for us on our last night. We would definitely return.

We had an amazing stay at this charming hotel during our cycling holiday. the lady owner was welcoming, friendly and spoke excellent English. the location was perfect, with easy walking distance to the river and canoe rental facilities. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with an efficient shower in the large bathroom. the restaurant served delicious food in the evening and breakfast had a good variety.

The bed was a bit hard and uncomfortable for our taste.

The restaurant food was tasty and well-presented and the pool was clean and pleasant. The hotel was conveniently located close to my business meeting venue and the staff was courteous and professional. Additionally, the outside seating area was comfortable and modern, creating a nice atmosphere to unwind after a long day.

The state of the carpet on the stairs leading to the rooms left a bit to be desired, as it seemed quite worn down. Furthermore, the bed I slept on during my stay was very hard and uncomfortable, with springs poking through. I had a difficult time getting a good night's sleep due to this.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel on the Dordogne river. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with lovely touches that added to the French country ambiance. I particularly enjoyed the large terrace attached to my room, which provided a beautiful view of the garden. The hotel's location was perfect, situated near a picturesque section of the river where I could easily go canoeing. Additionally, the prices for both the rooms and meals were very reasonable, making it great value for money.

The slow service due to the hotel being understaffed.

Spent a delightful time during my Easter break at a charming hotel nestled in a countryside location by a river. the room was very comfortable, and the facilities were excellent, including a big swimming pool and outstanding restaurant. the food was scrumptious, and the service was top-notch. the location was perfect, not too far away from key attractions and outdoor activities, such as canoeing and paddle-boarding. It was a fantastic getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, and the scenery was a sight to behold.

There were a few issues during meal times with flies and wasps, which disrupted our dining experience. Perhaps the management could have placed candles or provided citronella to deter these pesky insects.
